A young girl, so wise and as beautiful as sin
But so tattered and torn below her skin
She vents anger but there’s still so much in her underneath
She wants to believe, but she sees the lie in belief
To her love is another one of life’s weaknesses
And she refuses to let herself feel weak with it
She’s strong in the eyes of those who need to see
And haunting to those who betrayed her previously
“Can’t break what’s broken” is how she sees her heart
And the thorns of former ‘lovers’ have sliced her apart
Every smile she sees is a lie waiting to begin
Perhaps one day, in love, she’ll believe again

It’s not a theory, its the truth
Its not creation, its the proof
That only I, can be real
I’m not a god, he’s an ideal
You can test me, but you can’t quit
I’m addiction, I’m your habit
Call me flawless, because I’m perfect
In a world of fear, I’m the suspect
Your infected, I have the cure
I’m the medicine, And I am yours
I come with an if, a side effect
Painless death, as you’d expect
The Bible was wrong, I am precise
Adam was weak, an apple sufficed
A simple fruit, turned deadly decoy
Just like me, please enjoy

She was dreaming of a man
Who took his own life in her nightmare
The cause of death was unknown
She couldn’t help, she just stood there and stared
She had been raised to be strong
In the rain for him her heart was aching
She didn’t know him in life
But she couldn’t stop herself from shaking
She slowly crawled to the man
To find a sign if he was alive
The only sign that she found
Was him staring at her with his dead eyes
She couldn’t understand why
On his face he was wearing a grin
She knew she could have saved a life
Now he stares at her like she did to him

Laying on grassless ground in the dark
Looking into the ebony sky for stars
Although the stars burned out years ago
Blinking lights from the sky still glow
A shooting star has long been a myth
A fairy tale that we all have missed
Those lights still flicker in the night
But they aren’t stars, just a billion satellites
Satellites that are watching us from space
Their telescopic cameras centering on your face
A face more beautiful than the last sea
Which is bound to dry out in the coming weeks
We’ll rest under the only tree for miles
In a world about to die, I’ll remember your smile
This is our love in a distant future
Older than time, but the same as before

A rancid acidic wind flowing
Over the dark, whithered, and decaying petals of a rose
That was left by a young lover on the stoop
Of someone that the idea of God only knows
The violet hue of the sky this night
Turned the empty grey street to colorfullness
Like an Autumn leaf landing on the lawn
Proving to many of a new season’s hopefullness
But the abolition of these times prove
The only seasons we’ll see is a nuclear winter
Sweeping over valleys and the roads of towns
Like a plague, where nobody can be the victor
A joyful whistle came to be a wretched sound
Melting souls like a genocide planned perfectly
But when power and greed are gone, the world survives
By the tiny trees that the war didn’t see.

Some say the end is here
Some say we blinked and we missed it
This earth is just a cult
With all the hit-or-miss prophets
We’re so far from a savior
And the only redeemer we have is blind
So we say praise to our sightless oracle
Just too bad he’s out of his mind
A eulogy so undeserving
Cast him back into the serpent’s mouth
Cold stares and disloyal prayers
Has become what this entire world is about

I’ve been everywhere
And still haven’t seen one sunset
All I’ve seen was darkness so clear
The ebony glaze that so many men fear
I’ll have to speak now
And try to explain to you later
But I’ll show you what you ain’t seeing
I was born again, this time a human being
This is kingdom come?
My greener pastures left me years ago
Frozen rain in a dessert on my face
It’ll suffice just for a little taste
Starring at an ecclipse
And I could only wish to go blind
Just pick a spot, and tell me when you’ll die
I’ll be the Reaper in the corner of your eye

Paperback airplanes holding paper weight dreams
Burning all around me now you see what I mean
The only thing i was ever told was keep your nose clean
Break down those walls to make a new street
Champagne wishes turn to carried on nightmares
The answers to seek are burried down right there
Move like royalty but dictate whats not fair
Genocide the masses and smile when they’re scared
Everytime I look down in the mud I see your face starring
Tear whats already been torn and share what your tearing
Look at the invisible suit your clown king is now wearing
Don’t dare consider anyone who considered ever daring

Death is thick in scent
Buzzards overhead
Vultures’ have their necks bent
Eating Everything
That has passed away
I have a Halo of circling birds
I rot away
Not caring of my live
Death is in the air
Buzzard swoops down
Death is in the air
Vulture feast
Death is in the air
I deteriorate
Death is in the air
I contemplate
Death is in the air
I complicate
Death is in the air
I am gone
Death is in the air
Buzzard flies away
Death is in the air
Vulture leaves
Death is in the air
My soul belongs to them

This dream with in a dream
It’s more that what is seen
A riddle you can’t answer
Like a successful cure for cancer
A perfect sphere was only once drawn
The man that did has long been gone
His dreams live on in a trance
In a new world’s final chance
This dream with in a dream
Is more dangerous than it seems
It’s that enigma that you can’t solve
But around your world It still revolves
Like pandora’s box has just been open
Plague or riches which does it bring them
It’s rolling down a broken shoreline
The plague it brings will merge with mine
